Lazy, I'm also using cold bowls only - at the beginning of a fresh bowl at least. For sure a pre-heated bowl delivers much more vapor but I'm also ok with the performance of a cold Herborizer bowl. I like the different efx of the Herbo compared to the Showerhead. It's more hitting than the SH if you are fighting against pain and is sending you better to sleep. In these points the Herbo is working better at least. Also it's flavor is more refined than that of the SH.

I was all over the dial and found a heated bowl worked best for my use.
Cold bowl was okay, just not my thing.
As with all vapes, they are not everyone's cup of tea.

@Hogni
It's all relevant only to the person actually using the vaporizer.
What it does for you, it did not do for me.
The SH provided bigger, tastier hits faster for me.
It helps with all my medical needs.
I have moved on from the SH being my DD a long time ago though, so it was not perfect for my requirements either.

Everyone is different and this discussion proves my point perfectly!
This is the reason i dislike giving opinions because it affects everyone differently.
I am not saying one is better than the other, they are totally different vaporizers.

I enjoyed using the Ti but could not justify keeping it as it did not cover all the bases.
I still use my old RooR Vapor, a clone of the OG Herborizer.

Glad it works for you so well!

Everything ok, my friend. You showed your point of view and I just mine. Of course personal preferences and likings are most important - and they differ.

I never go over 5:30.

4:30 - 5:00 is my sweet spot. I go to 5:30 if I have a stubborn strain or want to crush a bowl. I mix it up between cold and hot bowls. Usually only hot when I want to finish it off.

Lately I’ve given the table to the FP. I have an early build, but a great performer. I like that I can use the carb cap to mimic a hot bowl at the end. I think the Herborizer has less thermal mass - so the fp can extract quicker but also can overshoot easier.

Honestly, I think I can get them both to perform identically for my recreational needs. They are both also equally dangerous! I’ll probably end up using the Herborizer more only because I like the look better.

I am a registered medical user and require my vapes to work a certain way for me to achieve a pain alleviating medication without becoming useless for hours.
My spinal condition requires pretty potent, instant hits for relief.

As I have stated many times before, it is all personal preference and not trying to get vapes to perform similarly.
There are enough vapes to satisfy everyone, this one was not for me at that time. Who knows what the future holds, no vape is truly ever 100% written off for myself...

Great to have your input here Sticks. Just one point to make- we have discovered a calibration variation may exist between diff analogue units, so that setting 5 on one unit matches 6 on another.

You may have a hot runner by the sounds of it. With the analogue I used I stayed betweenn5 and 5.7 max.

hello all!

I've got one for ya...So I broke the glass piece that attaches to the metal piece on my Ti for herbs (not sure what it's called but it's not the bowl). There is no replacement listed anywhere on there website. I emailed them 3 different times (2 times in french and even with a picture of the part I needed). There has been no response at all.

Without this glass piece I can't use it. I'm not sure what to do, would appreciate any suggestions.

Thank you!

You mean this?

I wonder if this is actually the part which Sebastian is waiting on and was responsible for the delay of the digital release. I know he was waiting on some glass but I was never sure in my mind which bit it was but this could be it.

In stock here for a few extra €

What's up everybody? I've just joined FC and also the Herborizer family! I ordered one yesterday and it just arrived. I'm about to try it  Decided to go for the TI tube since Vaposhop didn't have the bubblers in stock, and I saw Sebastien himself was very enthousiastic about it, as well as Alan Partridge. I figure I can always order a bubbler later anyway. I own a few other vapes as well so I'm excited to see how it compares.

Edit:
It's awesome! Effortless huge hits without almost any draw resistance. Awesome flavor and effects too. Only downside was having to hold the heater while loading the bowl. Can i just put the heater on the bong while loading the chamber, or will it shock the glass too much? Tube really is great by the way, I like it a lot more than I thought I would.

Congrats! Don't you have the stand?

It's the most important accessory aside the microdose bowl IMO

was looking at the herborizer, and have a question about the power supply.
does anyone know if the power supply+temp regulator could be replaced with a lab power supply?

from pictures and videos, the power supply seems pretty simple, looks like laptop power supplies. the heater is listed as operating on 12 volt DC on several sites, so it seems to me the power supply just turns the 220 volt ac into 12 volt dc, same as with log vapes. and the temp regulator seems like just a dimmer regulating the voltage. also seeing as I've also seen a car-adapter for the herborizer for sale, so that seems to corroborate that. and the reports I read from the same temp-setting being a different actual temp for different people also reminds me a lot of the discussions in logvape threads about power supplies and actual voltages delivered.

I already have an underdog, which I use with a lab power supply as vvps. if I could use that with the herborizer, it would save me on clutter, and save quiet a bit of money, since I could just buy the Ti heater+glass injector+glass bowl seperately.

I think it would be possible, but I'm no authority. Around page 30 somebody else asked this question as well, but I'm not sure if they ended up actually trying it. The controller doesn't use a thermostat or anything so I think it is just regulating the heat by adjusting the voltage.

For anybody looking for a quick DIY stand: a glass coke bottle works great. I filled the bottom up with water for extra stability and drilled a hole in the side (above the waterline, obviously) so the hot air can escape.

Picked up some lemon haze this afternoon, I just had to know how it tastes in the Ti.

[Borat voice] Very nice! No really, it was great. A bit lemony, a bit minty, and overall just very fresh tasting. A bit sharper compared to more earthier herbs, if that makes any sense. Lovely creeper sativa high.

Good Morning everyone,

I recently stopped cleaning my herb ti, and got some nice reclaim at the bottom of the bowl. It smells very nice and i get good amounts of that oil out of it.

Now i want to dab/vape this oil, anyone any experience with it?

Wanted to order the Herborizer Concentrate Bowl for it, any suggestions for that and how hot the heater should be for extraction?

Regards

My Herborizer Ti has been out of action (waiting on replacement heater cover) so I've dusted off my old XL, first time using it in about 1.5 years.

The old XL is still a beast, I'm getting super dense and flavorful vapor from it. When the Ti came out, I was blown away, and thought I couldn't go back to the XL. But now that I'm using it, I'm reminded why I always loved Herborizer vapes. I actually prefer the massive bowl on the XL! And it hits more than hard enough for me. I started on 10, found it made me cough way too much, and have settled on 7.5.

an update. I ordered a ti heater+glass injector+bowl, and it works. currently have my vvps at 10volts and getting good vapor.

one problem though. I couldn't find a site that had everything in stock, so I ordered the heater from the herborizer site, and the glass parts from vaposhop. however, the glass injector didn't fit the heater, there was a lip at the end stopping the end of the heater, causing only the centerpart of the heater to push trough, with the thicker metal part staying behind and blocking the airholes, so airflow was too little to get anymore than a whisp of vapor.
I did a quick fix using a pair of sharp-pointed scissors+pruning shears(pruning shears as hammer, point of the scissors just below the lip). it's now an ugly jagged broken glass end, but at least it works.

I'll have to see if I can get a better fitting injector later, and maybe get a stand too since I notice now how it would be nice to have.

What you are describing doesn't sound right and definitely shouldn't be the case if I was you I would without question contact Sebastien and explain the situation and asked for his thoughts on it and if this has occurred elsewhere. I would feel confident that he would at the very least offer you a free replacement glass part and make sure that it fits and works for you.

I am a little confused by your description and cannot picture clearly what you are describing and what you mean but I do know that the glass can be a bit of a tight fit over the injector and can seem like it won't go together to see all that gap.

But that is my advice there is no way Sebastien wants his products out there being chopped up with uneven broken glass, he has designed this system immaculately to fit together if there is one thing I can say about Herborizer glass- the fit is precise and you won't get better made glass joints with how they fit together with the tightest possible tolerances.

So he would not be happy to leave you with this bodged setup. Definitely email him if you possibly can send some photos that would be extremely helpful to him and lead to a swifter resolution.
Let us know the outcome. And I'm pleased that your power supply is working however don't just assume that it is working optimally because with these situations you could be getting some power but not the full level. My friend Dave has a mobile portacabin beside his house which we have sessions in and on one occasion there was a problem with the power outlet there.

We used both his herborizer models that night, starting with the XL. But it's just wasn't working right it wasn't producing the same level of vapor it should and the experience was less than satisfactory but it was still working.
We had to give up on that model and we switched to the Ti which did work better but it was also later confirmed that it was not working as it should do to the power outlet issue.

So I just want to make sure that you're getting the full performance and experience here this vape should be absolutely chugging out the vapour thick and dense as you like it and can handle it, with really no effort at all.

If that is not the case and you're not getting thick clouds when you turn the temperature up with ease and fully extracted ABV then you may want to consider that your power supply is not providing the full power required for the heater to work accurately and consistently.

the glass I meant is the end of the glass injector, the side with the GonG fitting. there it had a bit of a lip inwards, so that the metal heater couldn't get past this point, meaning the thicker part of the heater-part you insert into the glass was blocking the 2 airholes in the glass injector. I can's take pics right now, maybe tomorrow. and I tried, definitely not a really thight fit, it was no fit.

at least I know it works now, and it definitely works well. I think I'm first going to contact vaposhop, since they were the ones who provided the glass part, maybe they got a bad batch or something. I also noticed it doesn't have the herborizerlogo in it, which the pic on their site does have. but that's for later, I hate contact with customer services, and I have a slight fear that because vaposhop is a bit bigger and has a dutch site, they're going to try to call me instead of simply answering my mail, and I hate calling, and being called even more(my experience with customer service is they think it's good to call to resolve it quickly and leave a good image, but they don't get I'm sending them an email instead of calling them for a reason). and I have other things to do woth my time that I don't dread as much.
but didn't want to wait on that to be able to try it out, hence the broken glass-solution. it's only a 12,50 euro-part anyway, so I don't really care if breaking it would void a refund for it not fitting.
just a temporary fix till I can get the right fitting part.
