when you can find them in stock
They have some shorty turbo bowls and female joint turbo wpa’s, but the site is nonfunctional due to site software problems, you can save items to cart, they disappear when the cart is opened. They know about the problem and have yet to fix it. They told me try their new store Planethaze, but there is nothing in stock and the female joint wpa’s are not offered. Too bad because I believe they have some turbo units in stock. I sent another email to try manually to order the items that were in stock, but they never replied again. It’s too bad.

I don't know, I just purchased an 18mm turbo shorty. It all worked ok for me. Just lucky I guess. Or the VAS gods love me 🙃

That’s good, must be my browser or something, they told me other people were having problems with checkout after they did software update. So it’s possible, good. Thanks for the info.

You’re correct the site does work, I was using Edge and switched to Safari and worked, had a problem with my MC not sure why, but it took my Visa so I picked up 2 18mm and 1 14mm female turbo wpa’s plus 3 other adapters I needed. Me’s happy.

does look awesome! I knew of the 420edc hiflo stems but the change rate is brutal, so I'm glad to see a canadian options for stems/wpa with more airflow!

do you know what the difference is between the vortex vs turbo? I can see the vortex has a medium size ish hole in the middle (third image here) but I can't see well on the image for the turbo. is it just entirely freeflowing with nothing where the glass screen usually is? thanks for sharing this!

It’s hard to see but there a rim of about 1/16” to hold the screen. When I 1st tried the turbos with standard flat mesh screen I found it tedious when you unloaded the screen always came out and have to reinstall so I stopped using them. Now I use the rimless dome screens and they are really secure and never fall out when unloading and the difference in air flow between a flat mesh and done mesh screen is negligible so now it’s my favorite especially when fitting the stem off the bottom of the bowl. I have the vortex and they are pretty good too with the domed mesh screen. I have a Argo vortex stem w/small dome screen from 420edc and it was a nice improvement as well.
