Both of mine are titanium and I think the lighter weight is what allowed me to launch it with an attempted really fast spin. That was with the magnet!

For real! I got too happy spinning it once and spun the top right off. Pure reaction had me reach and miraculously grab it mid air with the teeth pointing out 😬 I am much more restrained in my fidgety joy now

I put it in an earlier message but only the moisture at the outermost layer will be affected. It will boil away until there is an equilibrium which isn't much but will cause the outside to feel dry. I was also under the impression equilibrium takes seconds vs days but I'm not exactly an expert...

When I can't hear the balls shake is when I soak the cap. They look clean but clearly there is buildup. I do notice airflow improves as well.
