Does anyone know how to remove the outer metal shell of the Digital Volcano?
I wanted to put a sticker on the outside, but realized it gets pretty warm when heating up.
So I was thinking maybe getting something laser etched into the outside. No idea where I'll have that done, though.
Any ideas?

1-Has the two year warranty expired?
2-Are you sure you'll never want to sell it? It's got very good resale value, but others may not like your customizing.

Yup, warranty has expired. I'm not worried about re-sale value. If I sell it, I'm sure I will get a good price for it with or without the engraving. I keep very good care of my stuff.

Well one thing's for sure, there'll be less drag?

Try with this one, amazing tool, there is nothing you can't open with it. ![]()

A torx bit will open it up. You can find one at a local hardware store or get in touch with S&B, as I have heard they have sent this tool to customers upon request.

Just noticed you asked about the digital. I'm not 100% sure about the above for the digital, as I have not seen one in person yet. The above works for the analog version.
