Update on my stuck screen: Yeah, this is the advice I should have taken. I went with the screwdriver disassembly instead... When I unscrewed the plates, I noticed that the screen was wedged right on the heater, beneath a second glass tube. There's a first top glass tube where the metal...

That is indeed the problem! Screen somehow got forced out of its retention ring and is in direct contact with the coil. Alas, I'm halfway packed for moving houses, and all my fancy screwdrivers are in a pile of boxes. I won't be able to get it out without disassembling the vape. Still, it's...

The temperature problems are not consistent, and the vape functioned just fine shortly after each burn.

Been a while since I last posted. My TM from May 2020 has been going strong with everyday use since then. The only maintenance I do is to clean the threads on the battery door whenever they get a little stuck. It's been a dream until this weekend, when on three separate occasions, I...

I love using my TM through glass. It's been 1.5 years since I last bought a new bong, and I'm starting to get the itch for something new. Does anyone have experience using a Stundenglass Gravity Bong with their TM? I'm not about to pay $500 for an official one, but I see knockoffs on...

I have experienced unpleasantly high heat on the body during on-demand use (even when vaping at temps below 6), but near the battery door instead of on the base. In these cases, I always figured that gunk in the battery door threads was increasing electrical resistance and causing the excess...

It's been quite a while since I last posted here. Luckily, it's because my TM has been working so well that I'm speechless! Last night, after feeling slightly underwhelmed by my TM's performance, I figured that it was time for a deep clean. I've been using mine almost every day for the last...

I bought these screens last year for use with my RBT short stem. Originally they were slightly too narrow to fit comfortably in the stem, but I flattened the dome and stretched the edges until it fit. After a year of (ab)use, my screen is still doing its job just fine.

It's been almost 11 months since my TM arrived. I'm still very happy with it. If I could think of one improvement, it would be that the temp dial should be marked to show which number it points at. When my partner repacks a bowl and I see the temp dial aligned with 9 and 2, I have to figure...

I use an RBT stem, and it fits perfectly. I think the only reason to decide between RBT and TM 18mm WPAs is whether or not you want to use the cooling unit. The TM's stock CU is too big to fit inside the RBT stem. I just use a metal screen, which I prefer. It's easier to clean a cheapo...

Ugh, I dropped my 18mm -> 14mm glass adapter barely 2 inches onto my table and it shattered. Not that I hate using the straight stem + CU, but TM with water pipe is such a great combination. Maybe I should spend a little more money on my next adapter. My TM is nine months old and still going...

My partner has a mighty that I used to mooch off of until I got my TM (my last vape was an old flowermate). Last week, I was away from town for a couple of days, and when I get back, I see an 18650 battery in my charger. "Shit, did I leave that battery charging this whole time?". I then go...

Biggest problem I see would be connecting it in the battery slot. Since it's the screw-down lid that completes the connection from the negative terminal, any battery slot wall adapter would need to make solid contact with both the prong inside the unit, and the metal top. It's definitely...

I really do like my TM, but I dislike how oxidation builds up in the threads of the battery compartment. Last night, I swapped out the battery (I do this usually once every 1-2 days) and encountered resistance while trying to tighten the battery cover enough for contact against the new battery...

The battery spring at the bottom of the compartment may have been squished during the fall. Users have reported that you can hook it with a paperclip to pull the contact spring back up, which should be enough to resolve the issue.

Longer-term TM owners: How have you been caring for the wood body of your unit (if at all)? I didn't treat mine with anything, and I'm happy with how the oils from my hands have darkened the wood just a little. I'd be interested in hearing how other people's treatments have held up (or not)...

Have you disassembled your TM recently? People in the past have missed small things when reassembling, which caused poor performance. Another thing to check is that your CU is clean, if you've not done that recently. Lastly, how do you pack your bowl? Straw inhaling + knocking off excess...

I have a small metal poking tool with a cylindrical end. I push the cylindrical end against the metal CU rim near the screen. That is to say, the rim of metal between the glass tube and the CU screen. In this way, I only apply upward pressure against the body of the CU.

I started using the long stem recently. I don't get any performance difference with it, but it just feels "cooler". Not cool like lower temperature, but cool like a 1920's movie star, smoking from a long cigarette filter. Not that I have anyone to show off my "coolness" to these days...

That's nothing new for the TM. Does the website still say 4-6 weeks for potential delivery? The original order expiring makes sense if that's still the time it takes to make one. Hell, I ordered in February and had my order pending for 80+ days before mine arrived. I can only speak...
