I suspend a small glass beaker that has iso and the atty in the ultrasonic cleaner tub that holds 2ltr of water. The ultrasonic waves are not slowed down by the glass. Here is how but with old Mighty caps in the iso, Plastic test tubes are also great to fill with iso and suspend in the water...

I have 3xOG that all still work fine and never had a problem but I rarely pull the atomizer apart, I just ultrasonic clean the whole atty in 100% iso like a Puffco Peak Pro...on a regular basis.

If you already use high-quality bud you may just have a bit of a tolerance issue. The unit was never designed to run like this and may do damage by continually running flat out without a lid and may even cause the smell to get worse. Let the unit cool between heat cycles when burning off the new robot fart smell and iso q-tip the oven between cycles is how I rock on the body...

I have been informed that the Roffu firmware will not be user-updateable in the foreseeable future. I am still waiting on info about getting the cooling unit's cooling cap added as a separate unit for sale and will update here when I get an answer.:tup:

Glad you are enjoying the Avant. I also was quite surprised how well the little vape works, as you said, it is very pocketable. I think it is mostly the silicone as simply leaving the offending parts on a windowsill in the sun for a day or 2 helps.:tup:

I use the ultrasonic cleaner on bongs, glasses, jewelry, tools, just about anything it is very useful. PEEK can be soaked in iso also but for a max of 1/2 hour according to S&B.

The Roffu does have a bit of restriction compared to some vapes but the advice above will help negate that a bit. I never tamp at all with the glass oven, I just scrape the top off to level if overfilled. I have been doing the same lately instead for easy mouth-pulls on the WPA for that...
