I usually get two or three loads out of a charge. I only have the one battery it came with, and so far I haven't felt limited by it.

This is the same issue I was having. I sent it back, and after testing, was told "The only problem is that the battery is dead. Try using a different charger." I did, and haven't had any more problems.

Just adding my $ .02: I use a standard cheap plastic twisty type grinder and have never noticed any particles coming through the mouthpiece of my GH, which I've used daily for a couple of months now. As for battery life, a full charge usually lasts me a couple of "bowls".
